My Goals:
a. Run a 5k in 100 days
b. Drink 72 oz of water every single day
c. Eat only when I’m hungry, and don’t eat when I’m not hungry
d. Exercise at least 5 days per week for at least 30 minutes
e. Blog at least 5 days per week
f. Do yoga every single day, even if it’s just one pose
1. What have you done this past week to help achieve your goals?
I completed my runs for the 5k in 100 days program, and I even got in plenty of exercise otherwise (lots of playing on the beach, including walking, running, building sand castles, chasing a toddler, and fighting waves). But I didn’t meet any of my other goals.
However, I’m feeling it now. I can feel how dehydrated I am, and I feel the need to stretch every few minutes. Plus, I feel gross from all the junk I ate this week, and I’m craving healthy food.
Also, I listened to a bunch of weight loss podcasts on the drive home, and I have a bunch of bloggy ideas.
2. What did you do this past week to make you feel good about yourself?
I did my 5k in 100 days runs on the beach. I went to the beach. Although I still overate, I ate less than I have on past family vacations.
3. With two full weeks left in the challenge, what goals are you making your priority?
Drinking water, because I feel sooo much better when I do, and running my 5k workouts. And eating only when I’m hungry. And doing yoga.
Blogging, though, I think I’m going to aim for 3 posts a week. That feels a lot more reasonable to me.
4. Summer is just around the corner, which season do you find the easiest to accomplish goals?
Spring, probably. I’m always ready for a fresh start. Plus, it’s not as hot as summer. I don’t really like hot weather, unless I’m in the pool.
5. Fun Question: What do you miss most about being a kid?
Not having the responsibility of a kid and a house and bills. I mean, I love my daughter, and I like being able to do whatever I want to my house, but the cleaning and responsibility kind of suck sometimes.
Look at me getting all heavy.
So anyway, here I am, posting this on time (I’m actually scheduling it ahead of time!). This week should be much better in relation to my goals, and to my posting.
